Knock, Knock. Who’s there? Anita. Anita who? Anita Goodesign! We all need good embroidery designs and designs from Anita Goodesign are simply fabulous. What better way to sample their designs than to attend Anita’s University? We hope you will attend this two-day event at the Denver Mart Saturday and Sunday, October 14 – 15, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Anita’s University is an educational series of courses featuring all of the latest embroidery techniques, quilting in the hoop, and in-the-hoop projects. Both new and expert embroidery fans will love this hands-on learning course. Anita’s University gives students more designs than ever before — of ANY industry event, not just past Anita Goodesign events.
Attendees will receive a USB stick with over 200 designs! Focus is on a broader range of educational topics than ever before. You will leave the 2-day class with ALL of the tools needed to tackle ANY embroidery or quilting project in your hoop. You will learn how to do a variety of techniques. Projects range from different types of applique using materials like mylar, to interesting quilting techniques such as assembling beautiful tile scenes and trapunto in the hoop. You’ll also get to see their new puffy foam designs and vintage embroidery like hand stitching and entredeux. There is something for everyone in class!
You’ll get to shop through their products at new special pricing created just for Anita’s University. You’ll also get to see sneak peeks of new releases and techniques they’re working on. Come and meet new friends and have the chance to win prizes through fun drawings! This class is for everyone. There will be first timers there as well as those that have been doing in the hoop embroidery and quilting for many years. In events like these, everyone learns from each other!
The Denver Mart is perfectly suited for this event. With tables set up to accommodate up to 9 guests, you will work in teams of three. During the event, each team member will have a chance to use one of three different high-end embroidery machines to complete the projects. Of course, you’ll also be fed! Lunch is provided each day, as well as the ever-needed chocolate for an afternoon pick-me-up.
