Floriani Heat N Sta® Tearaway Stabilizer
Floriani Heat N Sta® Tearaway is the ideal stabilizer for solid-fill embroidery designs on lightweight woven fabrics such as batiste, linen, shirt-weight denim, pinpoint cotton, quilting cottons, and more. Its low-temperature fusible coating keeps delicate fabrics from stretching or shifting during hooping, making it easier to achieve smooth, accurate embroidery results—without the need for basting or messy spray adhesives.
Designed to hold fabric fibers firmly in place throughout stitching, Heat N Sta® supports well-digitized designs up to approximately 8,000 stitches and tears away cleanly from around the finished embroidery. It’s an excellent choice for embroiderers who want professional-quality stability with effortless removal.
Key Features:
Ideal for lightweight woven fabrics (batiste, linen, cottons, shirt-weight denim, and more)
Prevents fabric shift and stretch for easier, more precise hooping
Fibers remain stable during stitching for clean, accurate embroidery
Supports up to ~8,000 stitches on well-digitized designs
Clean, easy tearaway removal
No basting, taping, or spray adhesives required
How to Use Floriani Heat N Sta® Tearaway:
Fuse one layer of Heat N Sta® to the back of the fabric, using a low-to-medium iron temperature (around 260°/silk setting). Press from the fabric side or use a press cloth—do not touch the stabilizer directly with the iron.
Hoop garment and stabilizer together, aiming for “tight as a drum” tension.
Embroider your design. Tip: For designs denser than 8,000 stitches or poorly digitized designs, float one layer of Floriani Medium Tearaway under the hoop for every additional 10,000 stitches.
Remove the hoop and tear away the excess stabilizer from around the embroidery.
