In December’s class we will create a really cute It’s Snow Time Decorative Hot Pad.
This project includes three sizes – 5×7, 6×10 and 8×8.
This snowman’s hat is decorated with a fringed pompom.
The hot pad is completed in three parts.
Supply List
Embroidery machine in good order, power cord, scissors, threads of your choice.
The project is completed in your 5×7, 6×10 or 8×8 hoop.
Fabrics needed for the 8×8 hoop: a 9×9 piece for the background, 5-1/2 x 6 for the face, 5-1/2 x 5-1/2 for the hat, 5-1/2 x 5-1/2 for the hat brim, 9×9 for the back, 3×3-1/2 for the carrot nose, and 1/8 yard for the binding.
Slightly smaller pieces are needed for the smaller hoops.
Batting needed is a 8-1/2″ square, fusible backing for the materials and mesh cutaway stablizer to fit your hoop.
Also needed are a 5″ piece of 5/8″ grosgrain ribbon, and water soluble bobbin thread.
