I am a messy sewist! I have like 6 trash cans scattered around my sewing room and little bags to catch scraps and threads at my sewing machines. I don't have any carpet in my house (yea!) so I can't talk much about the carpet brush, but I absolutely LOVE the soft brush for bare floors. I especially love the fact that, unless the thread is very long, it doesn't get wrapped around the soft brush. Here's a picture of the "stuff" the vacuum picked up off my sewing room floor and the roller brush after vacuuming. I promise, I did not remove any thread from the roller.
The Simplicity S65 comes with three motorized attachments. On the carpet and bare floor nozzle, an LED headlight brightens all the nooks where dust lurks. Remove the metal wand, and use the S65 as a hand vacuum.
