The bernette 64 AIRLOCK is built for sewists who want an overlocker that combines speed, convenience, and precise stitch control. Packed with premium features, this machine makes serging easier, smoother, and more enjoyable—especially when working with garments and stretch fabrics.
The standout feature is the automatic air threader for the looper threads, dramatically simplifying threading with the push of a button. Combined with the color-coded threading paths, setup becomes fast and frustration-free.
The freearm design makes it easy to sew smaller tubular projects like sleeves, cuffs, and children’s garments, while the large workspace to the right of the needle and included slide-on extension table provide plenty of support for larger projects.
For professional-level stitch quality, the machine includes Micro Thread Control (mtc), allowing you to fine-tune overedge stitches quickly and precisely for beautifully balanced seams and rolled hems.
Comfort and control are enhanced with the Free Hand System (FHS) and knee lifter, letting you raise or lower the presser foot hands-free while keeping both hands on your fabric for better guidance and precision.
