Description
In this class, students will learn to lay out a pattern, inset sleeves, make buttonholes and add a collar.
Even if you have never sewn before, you can make a basic shirt for a little one or yourself. To make the initial shirt, it will take at least 3 classes.
You will find some suggestions for easy shirt patterns in the supply list. If you cannot find any of the listed patterns please call and speak to the teacher before buying another pattern.
YOU MUST GET APPROVAL BEFORE CHANGING TO A DIFFERENT PROJECT FOR THIS CLASS.
Please make sure you have all of the supplies you need for this class and be sure and check the size listed on your pattern. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call the store and speak to the teacher.
What to bring: Your sewing machine in good working order. Straight pins and machine needles. Hand sewing needles with thread to match your project. Interfacing (according to the instructions on your pattern). Cotton or poly blend fabric for your project. Good pair of sewing scissors, chalk marker or Frixon pen.
